The Other Side of Sleep is the story of an unremarkable young woman whose mundane life would have gone unnoticed if it wasn't for her tendancy to sleep walk. The film takes a small town murder story and subjects it to a dreamlike metamorphosis, reinvigorating familiar themes with deeply unsettling and atmospheric results.

 

Written and directed by Rebecca Daly, the film was shot entirely on location in Offaly in 2010 and was chosen to screen as part of the prestigious Directors Fortnight selection at the Cannes Film Festival.
